About the Artist

Thacker P

The artist has been inspired to re-create the symbols of the “The Mother” and “Sri Aurobindo” in a stitched form entwined with light threads and crystals — as they have an artistic and spiritual connotation signifying truth consciousness, pure universal light, and beauty.

The materials used too has its own significance of healing energy, light and beauty that actually makes the whole piece of art aesthetically enchanting for the viewer, mesmerizing them to a form of beauty that is yet to be manifested.

“My individual spiritual process has been unconsciously interpreted here as weaving the fabric of cosmos as a ’prarthana’ — an offering to THE MOTHER and SRI AUROBINDO.” — Thacker P

Significance of SRI AUROBINDO’s SYMBOL, given by THE MOTHER — Pondicherry:

The descending triangle represents Sat-Chit-Ananda. The ascending triangle represents the aspiring answer from matter under the form of life, light and love.

The junction of both, the central square, is the perfect manifestation having at its center the Avatar of the Supreme — the lotus.

The water inside the square-represents the multiplicity, the creation.

Significance of THE MOTHER’S SYMBOL as given by THE MOTHER herself:

The central circle represents the Divine Consciousness.

The four petals represent the four powers of the Mother. The twelve petals represent the twelve powers of the Mother manifested for Her work.

The four petals other four powers are — Mahasaraswati, Maheswari, Maha Kali, Mahalakshmi.

The twelve powers are — Sincerity, Humility, Gratitude, Perseverance, Aspiration, Receptivity, Progress, Courage, Goodness, Generosity, Equality and Peace.

Cosmic Heart Gallery houses symbols that celebrate sacred geometry and significance of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. These exquisite creations (are like mini installations) act as pieces that one can place in one’s space with absolute conviction in their ability to bring style, positive frequencies and joy.
