Cosmic Heart Gallery completes a milestone of three incredible years and the gallery moves forward widening their concepts and vision with a passion and vigour; the horse & this equine collection is indeed symbolic.

Each show curated at Cosmic Heart has an underlying purpose & message. The latest show is to celebrate this magnificent, powerful animal – THE HORSE. Horses symbolize personal drive, passion, transcendent freedom, independence, epic power of mind, body & spirit, trusting relationships, service to others & self.

“The artworks bring to life the pulse of the royal sport of Polo and stimulate an adrenaline rush. Gautam has captured every mood of this beautiful animal – strength, power, gentleness & love. Among all the animals, it is one that shows a strong motivation that carries one through life. It also stands for freedom of expression,” says Jalpa H Vithalani, Creative Head & Director, Cosmic Heart Gallery, who has curated the show.

This encapsulates in a nutshell the journey and evolutionary path of Cosmic Heart Gallery to touch people’s lives via the medium of art.

“Horses enthral so many with their vigour and such is their strength that an engine’s capacity is decided on the basis of ‘horse power’, says Gautam.

“I have tried to bring out the emotions in my works of this beautiful animal, even the tenderness of joy and romance. Moreover, their physique is also very stunning which intrigues me and has been translated on canvas.”

The curator Jalpa herself is passionate about horses & riding. Cosmic Heart Gallery had recently curated a stunning Equine Art show for the RINALDI POLO TOURNAMENT at the Rambagh Polo Grounds in Jaipur. The event was inaugurated by Princess Diya Kumari, who has displayed one of the stunning artworks at the City Palace in Jaipur. With players of the stature like Maharaj Narendra Singh of Jaipur, Rinaa Shah, Vicki Nihalani, Vishal Singh playing for & supporting the cause, the initiative indeed was to support & encourage sportsmanship for young polo guns in the country. The gallery has been committed to partnering with meaningful concepts.

This exhibition is timed to be launched just prior to the renowned Kala Ghoda Festival which is a cultural hub in the city of Mumbai and The McDowell Signature Indian Derby.
